La pobreza es la falta de recursos económicos y materiales para satisfacer necesidades básicas personas. El objetivo fue evaluar el efecto del canon y regalías en la pobreza extrema por regiones en el Perú de 2012-2022. Se identificaron y recopilaron de datos del Banco Central de Reserva. El análisis se centró en tres regiones. Se aplicó modelos econométricos utilizando mínimos cuadrados ordinarios. Se utilizaron los valores de p y R-cuadrado para su validación. El análisis utilizó el software E-Views. La pobreza extrema en la región costa disminuyó entre 2012 y 2019, pero aumentó en 2020 debido a la pandemia. En la Sierra fue 6 a 9 veces mayor que en la costa. En la Selva fue menor que en la sierra y mayor que en la costa. Los modelos presentaron R-cuadrado elevados que indica excelente ajuste. El canon y regalías reducen significativamente la pobreza extrema en el Perú por regiones.
Poverty is the lack of economic and material resources to satisfy basic human needs. The objective was to evaluate the effect of canon and royalties on extreme poverty by regions in Peru from 2012 to 2022. Data was identified and collected from the Central Reserve Bank. The analysis focused on three regions. Econometric models using ordinary least squares were applied. The p-values and R-squared values were used for validation. The analysis utilized E-Views software. Extreme poverty in the coastal region decreased between 2012 and 2019 but increased in 2020 due to the pandemic. In the Sierra, it was 6 to 9 times higher than in the coast. In the Selva, it was lower than in the Sierra and higher than in the coast. The models showed high R-squared values indicating excellent fit. Canon and royalties significantly reduce extreme poverty in Peru by regions.
