La transformación digital como parte de la modernización del Estado ha sido ampliamente abordada en estudios recientes de carácter político, tecnológico y social, destacando su impacto en la mejora de los servicios públicos y la transparencia gubernamental. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar y determinar el nivel de implementación y eficacia de las herramientas digitales aplicadas en los procesos administrativos estatales, mediante el método PRISMA. Las fuentes de información fueron las bases de datos de SCOPUS, ERIC y SCIELO. Se emplearon operadores booleanos como AND y OR. El número total de investigaciones identificadas fue de 125, seleccionándose finalmente 40 artículos provenientes de Chile, Perú, Colombia, Argentina, España, México y Uruguay. Según los resultados, la transformación digital impulsa significativamente la eficiencia operativa del Estado, optimizando la gestión de la información pública, mejorando la atención al ciudadano y promoviendo una cultura organizacional orientada a la innovación tecnológica.
Digital transformation as part of state modernization has been widely addressed in recent political, technological, and social studies, highlighting its impact on improving public services and government transparency. The objective of the study was to analyze and determine the level of implementation and effectiveness of digital tools applied in state administrative processes, using the PRISMA method. The sources of information were the SCOPUS, ERIC, and SCIELO databases. Boolean operators such as AND and OR were used. The total number of research articles identified was 125, with 40 articles ultimately selected from Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Spain, Mexico, and Uruguay. According to the results, digital transformation significantly boosts the operational efficiency of the state, optimizing the management of public information, improving citizen service, and promoting an organizational culture oriented toward technological innovation.
