Las prácticas gerenciales que contribuyen con la felicidad en el trabajo funcionan como estrategias fundamentales para desarrollar los procesos creativos de innovación en las organizaciones. El propósito de esta investigación fue determinar el efecto que produce la felicidad en el trabajo sobre el compromiso con el proceso creativo en los empleados. La investigación adoptó la ruta cuantitativa, no experimental, transeccional, descriptiva y correlacional utilizando la metodología de los modelos de ecuaciones estructurales sobre una muestra de 313 empleados de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (Mipymes) de la provincia de Imbabura en Ecuador. Los resultados revelaron que la felicidad en el trabajo produce un efecto positivo y significativo sobre el compromiso con el proceso creativo de los empleados. La investigación concluye que la felicidad en el trabajo es un predictor del compromiso con el proceso creativo de los empleados.
Managerial practices that contribute to happiness at work function as fundamental strategies for developing creative innovation processes in organizations. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of happiness at work on employee engagement with the creative process. The study adopted a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive, and correlational approach using structural equation modeling methodology on a sample of 313 employees from micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the province of Imbabura, Ecuador. The results revealed that happiness at work has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement with the creative process. The study concludes that happiness at work is a predictor of employee engagement with the creative process.
