The research aimed to establish the relationship between knowledge management and decision-making among authorities of a Peruvian public university in 2025. A quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional design was used, with a sample of 127 university authorities. The University Knowledge Management Questionnaire (CEGCU) and an adapted version of the Melbourne Decision Making Questionnaire (MDMQ) were applied, both validated and with adequate reliability. The results showed a positive and significant correlation between knowledge management and decision-making (rs = 0.683, p < 0.01). It was determined that the greater the knowledge management, the greater the decision-making capacity. This finding reinforces the need to strengthen knowledge management at the leadership level to improve decision-making processes and build a more efficient university management aligned with strategic objectives.
